Cupcakes Over Laundry

Lately, every time I have a pile of laundry to fold I head to the kitchen and whip up some cupcakes. {I do laundry almost daily...so you see how this could be a problem}.

A couple of times Mr. C would come home to find me in the kitchen making cupcakes and a basket of laundry sitting near by. {I thought if I brought the chore in the kitchen with me maybe I would get it done. It didn't work}.

I don't usually decorate. It is not my forte. However, when one of my favorite bakers posted some beautiful rose cupcakes...I had to give them a try.  You can find the tutorial at Preppy Kitchen.

A few days later, I found a recipe for Boston Cream Cupcakes. Well, Randi loves Boston Cream Pie! These will make her happy!!  They were a huge hit and fun to make.
Recipe from Life, Love and Sugar

We eat a lot of bananas around here. Mr. C eats one every morning and the kids and I usually have one with breakfast or snacks after school. When they start to get overly ripe and nobody wants them...I can't bare the thought of throwing them away! Bread, donuts, muffins or cupcakes with cream cheese frosting are a must. {Sometimes, I freeze them and use them in smoothies too}.
You can find my recipe on my blog.

When someone tags you on FB asking you to make these...you gotta do it! A fun lady who takes my fitness classes sent this to me and was anxious for me to make them.  They were an easy, fun project. I used my own chocolate cupcake recipe, however, the tutorial is found at tastemade.

It's been four days since I made my last batch of cupcakes. I'm starting to get the shakes.
But. I'm all caught up on my laundry!!
