To say Cade loves trains would be an understatement. He is crazy about them! So, yesterday my little conductor and I headed over to the train park in Scottsdale. He was in heaven. It was a beautiful's a nice size park...with a carousel...and TRAINS!
He rode in the caboose...looks like he's in jail.
And, just to make sure I got us there...he made this map for me before we left.
Always the helpful one.
If these walls could talk! There was also a train museum on the property. We walked through the actual train that President Roosevelt used for three years. These were his quarters. He rode in this train while visiting the troops across the country and while campaigning. We were fortunate to have a very enthusiastic and extremely well informed tour guide. Bob knew everything there was to know about this particular train car...and it was all very interesting.

I know how it is with a boy that loves trains, my Michael was ridiculously infatuated with trains at that age too! Scottsdale Park is a great place for train loving kids. It was great meeting you at the flea market on saturday!
