I'm a sucker for a farmer's market. A
real farmer's market. The sight of fresh produce and beautiful flowers lining a street
makes me weak in the knees.

When I realized our LA hotel was walking distance from the LA Farmer's Market I became so excited. However, my
bubble was popped late Saturday afternoon when we finally waltzed over to the market only to find a few stragglers...and they informed me they would not be there the next day. But...

They would be a the Hollywood Farmer's Market. Yippee...even better.
We rose early Sunday and
grabbed a taxi to Hollywood...

Since it would be difficult to travel with
these delectable gems - I had to snap them up in photographs...

Ohhh...these
berries just scream happiness. I know they want to topple
over a bowl of ice cream...
or a
piece of buttermilk pie...

Nothing says love like a
bouquet of sweet flowers...stock, sweet peas, sunflowers...purchased at the market, wrapped in newspaper and tied with a piece of twine...
