Tricks and Treats

the last several days have been so busy.
busy with fun filled halloween activities.
friday, the kids had a fall festival at school.
{where there was face painting.}
they decided to practice some of their skills on papa, later that night.

the afternoon of halloween, papa called and asked if they could paint up his face again.
he wanted to be dressed up to hand out popcorn to the trick or treaters.
{yes, popcorn.  they brought out their big, old fashioned popcorn maker and passed out little bags.}

my scary vampire and zombie prom queen.

she looked like a character out of a tim burton film.
and the dress has a little history behind it...
it was originally my mom's.
then i wore it.
i even have pictures of troy {my younger brother} wearing it.

by the time we finished trick or treating...
my little vampire was losing his pants.

and, it didn't bother him at all!

it was a spooktacular halloween.
every crazy minute of it.
