Happy Things

things that made me smile this weekend:

cade's assistance with picking out accessories at target.
{i had no idea he was doing this.  i turned around and found him dripping with jewels.}

mr. c brought home
michael jackson for the wii.
we laughed and laughed with the kids.
{they really got their groove on.}

baking always makes me smile.
and these banana chocolate chip muffins with cream cheese frosting
are always a hit.
{they made their way to the teacher's lounge this morning.}

randi's nails.
she's been using the sally hansen stick on polish.
they are so easy to use and last a long time.
{if only they came in lime green - zebra print!}

and the one thing that doesn't make me smile?
our flippin' weather.
i know i go through this every august/september...
but, it is horrible!
this morning the paper reported that this could be the hottest august on record.
UGH!

{thank goodness for all those happy things.}
