i have been using these products for over a year now and love them. burt's bees' products are fabulous plus, the story behind the company is very cool. the products are all natural. i had been using neutrogena face and body wash for years but, decided to make the switch because of burt's bees commitment to environmentaly friendly and sustainable, natural products. {mr. c is still a die hard neutrogena fan}. coconut oil. i love this stuff! i have been using this as a moisturizer for two years after some ladies in my group fitness classes told me how amazing it is. {you can use it in your hair, on rashes, cooking, and as a moisturizer}. i use it nightly. it only takes a small amount {dime size} to cover your face/neck area. it turns to liquid as soon as you rub it in your hands and will soak into your face immediately without clogging your pores. {it will not leave you or your pillow case greasy}. apple cider vinegar. oh! the many benefits of this natural product! drinking it {just a teaspoon or two mixed with water} can aid in digestion, help with aching joints, and heart health. but, my favorite is to use it as a toner. i dab a little on a cotton ball and rub it all over my face morning and night. mr. c and the kids think i'm crazy because the smell is a bit potent...but, i'm keeping the wrinkles at bay! also... drinking lots of water and exercise is a must for naturally, healthy skin. and, i enjoy this smoothie from simple green smoothies: kiwi berry glow 1 1/2 cups spinach 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves 2 cups unsweetened coconut water 2 cups blackberries 2 kiwis halved {did you know the skin is edible and adds extra fiber}? blend spinach, mint and coconut water until smooth. add berries and kiwi. makes two servings. {randi and i love the simple green smoothie girls and their book}. here's to glowing, healthy skin! |
