{today: cookie baking and cleaning the house filled my hours}.

"What we see depends mainly on what we look for. " -John Lubbock

Upon returning from my morning walk with Mia, I gushed to Mr. C about the beautiful weather. It was lovely this morning...especially the portion of our walk that traced the tree line of the park. He just looked at me and said, "That's because of the way you look at things babe". His point: it's June. In Arizona. Very few find it beautiful. I looked at him and simply said, "well, I'm glad I look at things the way I do".

I have been known to wear rose colored glasses. I'm happy with that. Very happy.  {I see reality too...I just tend to see the glass half full}.

Perspective by Randi:
Yesterday, she was helping me carry bags out of Trader Joe's. She was wearing a short t-shirt dress and she felt like it was hiking up in the back and she was going to flash everyone. I said, "it's just a butt". She replied, "well, I'm not even wearing cute underwear, so the joke's on them".

"We can complain because rose bushes have thorns or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses."
